For the past 20 years I've worked with all sorts of brands, from giant retailers to mums with kitchen table businesses. I began freelancing when I became a mum. Before having children I'd achieved a BA hons degree in Graphic Design (Illustration), a Post Graduate in Marketing, and had spent at least 12 years working in the advertising industry in London & Bristol where I developed my highly professional approach to projects and gained a wealth of experience. Alongside freelancing as an illustrator and surface pattern designer, I often collaborate on branding projects with other artists, makers and independent business owners. Recent projects have covered a wide variety of industries from IT freelancers, hotel owners, mixed media artists to Christmas tree farmers... I enjoy using my graphic design skills & marketing experience to help others in a similar situation, nurture businesses created to live a life doing what they love. I completely understand the process for developing a brand which beautifully encapsulates a business, it's values and identifies with it's target audience. I also understand the issues that creative business owners face because I am one too, selling my own illustrated paper goods. Which is why I make it my mission to ensure the process for developing a brand is a pleasure for my clients. Whether it's for artwork for marketing communications such as leaflets and email newsletters, or branding for websites and blogs, or custom illustrations for new product development - I work closely with my clients to create stylish designs that simply work. |
